Introduction

Nystein’s graphite interface materials combine high thermal conductivity with very low thermal contact resistance. The graphite structure's thermal conductivity in the in-plane direction (the X-Y direction) and through direction (Z direction) is anisotropic.These interface materials are ideal for heat dissipation away from hot spots.Due to its high resistance to heat, graphite materials can also be used in applications at temperatures beyond 200°C.

Flextein G810R is a synthetic graphite thermal interface material of carbon in-plane single-crystal structure. Flextein G810R is ultra-thin, light-weight and flexible and offers excellent in-plane thermal conductivity. It is ideal for a variety of heat spreading applications where in-plane thermal conductivity is the most crucial and spaces are limited.

Flextein™ GC800

Flextein GC800 Series is a high-performance cost-effective thermal interface material. It’s made of thermally conductive copper foil coated with graphite. The graphite coating allows it to conform exactly to surfaces, thus maximizing heat transfer. Compared to common graphite film, the FlexteinTM GC800 Series provides excellent thermal performance in all X-Y-Z directions. They can bend and make an orientable heat transfer. The GC800 Series also would not give off powder compared to graphite film, which would cause electric issue. The GC800 Series can be coated with plastic, pressure-sensitive adhesive and other material combinations for additional design features and needs.
