Can I order your products directly online?
You can place order through our local sales channel or direct from corporate processing center, please contact us at us-sales@nystein.com for your inquiry. Each product is special designed and made to order to meet specific application requirements.
What quantity of material should I order?
Our technical specialist will advise the best quantity of material to order based on your application. For a better understanding of quantity versus coverage rate please fill out our online form. Our technical team will contact you for best suggestion.
What is typically the lead time for your EMI or Thermal products?
Most products will leave our factory warehouse in one to three weeks after order received. While items requiring tooling process are to be advised.
What shipping methods do you offer?
Courier or forwarder, depending on packing status.
What kind of payment do you accept?
Check in advance or bank transfer in advance. Terms can be established after the first order has been completed and the appropriate references have been checked.
What types of documentation can I request with the material I purchase?
NYSTEIN offers technical data sheets, material safety data sheets (MSDS), certificate of conformance (C of C) and other test data sheet(s) upon request and availability.
What information should I include on my purchase order?
Four main information that should be included in your purchase order are:
  • Part number, quantity and price of the material you are purchasing
  • Full name and shipping/billing address, along with a contact phone number & email address
  • Preferred shipping method with shipping account number, if applicable
  • Preferred method of payment
Are there any application instructions on how to apply the material?
It is recommended to refer to the technical data sheet supplied with your order for instructions on how to apply our materials or solutions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us immediately for technical support.
How can I ensure the shelf life of the material I purchased?
To ensure maximum shelf life, you should strictly follow the storage instructions listed on the product’s technical data sheet. In addition, each package purchased lists the date of manufacture. The shelf life of a material is calculated from its date of manufacture.

What is recommended Room Temperature Form-In-Place Gasket from Nystein?
CG-900 is one component, Ag/Cu-filled silicone elastomer Form-In-Place gasket material, which can be cured at room temperature. When CG-900 is applied onto metal or metallic coating plastic substrates or shell structure, cured gasket exhibits good elasticity, conductivity and adhesion, which lead to good performance of EMI shielding, grounding and environmental sealing.

What is the shelf life of Nystein's thermal pad gap filler?
The shelf life of thermal pad is depended on its main composition-silicone, which is about 20 years.
How to choose suitable thermal Pad?

Final selection of thermal pad depends on customer’s final design.

What is the thermal pad temperature range?
-55-200℃, the property of main raw material silicone is the major fact to consider working temperature range.
How to choose the thickness and hardness of thermal pad?
Hardness is one of, but not the main consideration for thermal pad selection. Characteristics of the material is the main concern. The proper thickness selection of thermal pad is choosing a pad 0.5 ~ 1mm thicker than actual gap in between the customer's heat source and heat spreader. Unless customer has additional requests, such as floor mats that need harder material, or other SPECIAL requests on hardness, then hardness should be considered.
What is the function of self tacky surface thermal pad?
Our thermal pad is self-tacky, easy apply and re-workable to safe cost and avoid tearing off. Product can be easily removed from or re-applied to the chassis and heat sink for re-work.
